РусскийTV Explorer HD+ selected by Finnish DVB-T2 operator
The new TV EXPLORER HD+ field strength meter, developed by PROMAX, has been selected by the Finnish operator, Anvia Oy, as a reference instrument to drive the deployment of one of the first DVB-T2 commercial networks in the world.
Once again PROMAX has tested its own technological capacity to develop the first portable field strength meter in the world to incorporate DVB-T2 technology, so it is able to analyse and demodulate all variants of DVB (DVB-T, DVB-T2, DVB- C, DVB-S and DVB-S2) in both standard definition and high definition, including encrypted services.
Participating in the deployment of one of the first DVB-T2 networks in the world with Anvia as a technology leader reaffirms the primacy of PROMAX in developing the most advanced technology, a feature that distinguishes the company’s products, which is the result of its strong commitment to R&D for almost half a century.

The awarded DVB-T2 licenses will allow Anvia to provide broadcast services in multiplexes F and HD3 of the nation’s digital terrestrial network. F multiplex is intended for SD and HD programmes nationwide while HD3 multiplex will offer HD content in the Helsinki area. The modulation technology used will be DVB-T2 with MPEG-4 encoding.
